Built in 1926, the Madrid Theatre has had a rich history, including it once being a movie house under the ownership of billionaire tycoon Howard Hughes! You won’t want to miss this jazz-filled evening while we raise money to support the Rotary International Foundation!
Parking
The venue has multiple, private off-street parking lots available which are marked by A-frame signs in front of each lot. In addition, public parking is available on Main Street. All parking is free.
Public Transportation
Forget parking and hop on the free and easy Kansas City Streetcar to reach the Madrid Theatre in style! With nearby stops and service until 1:00am on Saturday morning, it’s the perfect way to cruise into the evening — and keep the party going downtown afterward!
The Madrid Theatre is located 0.1 miles from the Westport street car stop (39th and Main).
From the Crowne Plaza Hotel: Walk 0.2 miles to the Power & Light street car stop (14th & Main). Take the streetcar south to the Westport stop. Walk 0.1 miles to the venue. Estimated travel time to the venue is 20 minutes.
From the Hotel Phillips: Walk 446 ft to the Metro Center streetcar stop (12th & Main St). Take the streetcar south to the Westport stop. Estimated travel time to the venue is 22 minutes.
