The Kirksville-Thousand Hills Rotary Club dedicates one meeting each month to completing a service project. These projects are designed to benefit individuals and organizations in the local community. The project for July was assembling dishwashing kits for distribution to patrons of the Pantry for Adair County. The kits included dish soap, a dish towel, sponges, and hand-knitted dishcloths. The Rotary Club of Kirksville-Thousand Hills meets on Thursdays at 7:00 a.m. at the Kirksville Aquatic Center, 801 E. Mill Street. Anyone who would like to learn more about the club, the monthly service projects, or Rotary International, a worldwide service organization, is welcome to attend.
