The District 6040 Nominating committee has selected Kim LeSage of the
Raytown, MO Rotary Club to serve as District Governor in the Rotary year
2017-18.  Rotarian Kim has accepted the nomination and will assume the
District Governor Nominee duty on July 1, 2015.

Kim began her Rotary career with the Raytown Rotary Club in 2004.  She
quickly became involved as the Community Service Director for the Raytown
Rotary Club.  Kim participated in a Shoes for Orphan Souls service trip in
2007 as well as leading a GSE team to Brazil that same year.  She has served
her club as Secretary, Foundation Chair, Youth Services Director, and as
Club President in 2008-09. 

Her gift of leadership to District 6040 include, among others, serving as
GSE Team Leader, GSE Committee Chair, Assistant District Governor, D6040
Foundation Alumni Vice President, and D6040 Youth Services Chair.  She has
attended numerous Rotary conferences, training sessions, and an
International Convention.  She has conducted training sessions in several
District/Multi-District events such as Show-Me-Rotary (PETS/SETS) and Mega
Training.

Kim is a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow and will be a great District Governor.
