Happy New Rotary Year! I hope you are enjoying this summer. We are diligently working across the district as People of Action, making a positive impact. I am immensely proud to be a Rotarian from Northern Missouri.
As we embark on this new Rotary year, the District Governor Line has decided to reach out to all Rotarians to inform them of the available positions in the District Leadership and committee roles. Below, we present several opportunities that we believe can be filled by clearly communicating the openings and requirements. Please review these opportunities and seriously consider whether you would be the ideal candidate to fill one of these positions.

Show Me Rotary Board Member
  • Three-year term, commencing July 1, 2025
  • Must have previously served as a club president. The meeting dates for the 25-26 year are already set. They are: 8/23/25, 10/4/25, 1/24/26 and Show Me Rotary 3/19-21/2026.

District Interact Chair
  • Three-year term, commencing July 1, 2025
  • Provide support to existing Interact Clubs, assist in the establishment of new Interact Clubs, and ensure compliance with youth protection regulations.

District Grants Chair
  • Co-chair in 2025-26 to familiarize oneself with the system. A two-year term begins July 1, 2026.
Committee Members for the following District Committees:
  • District Interact Clubs
  • Public Image
    • Applause & Cause Work Group
  • Membership Committee
    • Adding members to existing clubs
    • Chartering new clubs
    • Helping clubs with any membership topics
Each of the above committees as a great leader - they would benefit from having three to five additional members to effectively accomplish their tasks. Furthermore, having full committees would enhance the consistency of our district-level work.

If you have any interest in serving as one of the chairs listed above or as a member any District Committee, please contact me directly at AmyKCV+Rotary@gmail.com or my cell
