On July 22, Ruth Bowers received the Ray Klinginsmith Distinguished Service Award from the Rotary Club of Kirksville, recognized alongside another member for her extensive service to Rotary and the community.
A past club president, Bowers has held numerous positions in the Kirksville clubs and District 6040, in addition to working on countless committees and service projects.
The Ray Klinginsmith Distinguished Service Award was established in 2008 to honor the long-time Rotarian and Past Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith for his lifetime of devotion to service.
