District 6040 welcomes the newest Rotary Club, Kansas City Metro Rotary Club to End Homelessness. The club's mission is to help end homelessness for individuals and families. This may range from paying for an ID or Security Deposit, to finding legal assistance among the Rotarians and sharing resources with those who may not have known they were available before.

This club will meet bi-weekly at 11am on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at a different nonprofit monthly, beginning at Metro Lutheran Ministry. Meetings will be paired with a service project. Membership is as little as $20/mo + 2 hours volunteer time, but there are *no* mandatory meetings!!

Tapping into the Rotary network of hundreds of members locally, thousands around the world, and having access to local grants, global grants, and grants of scale will offer NEW funding opportunities for our metro's nonprofits which serve the homelessness population.
