On Tuesday, August 30th, 2022 the Brookfield Rotary Club celebrated their 100th anniversary.  The club was organized on November 22, 1922 and was recognized as a Club by Rotary International on January 1, 1923.  Over the past 100 years, the club has participated in many community projects.
A few of these projects are as follows:

Purchase of Christmas Gifts for Children from Underprivileged Families
               Support of Food  Bank
               Support of Animal Shelter
               Suicide Prevention
Sponsorship at the Annual Pershing Balloon Derby
               Rotary Exchange Students
Christmas Programs for Residents of Nursing Home
Scholarships for Brookfield High School Graduates

Tracy Carlson, current President led the celebration.  Lots of history was shared about the club and all of its past and current members.  I was honored to meet Judge Robert DeVoy who joined the Brookfield club in 1958 and is 93 years young!  He shared lots of Rotary memories to the group.
