While many people have heard of Rotary, few people actually understand what Rotary Clubs do. That's why Rotary created a new global ad campaign called "People of Action." Rotarians share a unique passion for taking action to improve their communities and the world. We want to give you just a glimpse of what Rotary Clubs in District 6040 are doing to be part of the People of Action campaign. If your club has featured the People of Action, let us know! Social media is a great way to show the People of Action in your club. There are resources available in Rotary Club Central to help you, but here are a few tips.
1. Always post a photo to go along with your posts. People love to see action shots.
2. Make sure to create events to show what your club is involved in.
3. Video is a great way to engage and showcase what your members are doing.
The Waldo Brookside Club does a great job of using the People of Action theme on their website. From photo albums, to video, to meeting details, you can find it all. Check out their page to get ideas on how you can showcase your People of Action!
The Rotary Club of St. Joseph East does a great job adding in the People of Action campaign in their newsletter. Not only do they use the images provided, they do a great job telling their action stories.
