Ready to get out of town for some R & R or treat yourself to some fine jewelry after this challenging year?  The District 6040 Foundation Celebration has four fantastic raffle items to help.  All proceeds will go to the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund/Share.  
 
The raffle winners will be drawn at the virtual Celebration on May 22. We hope you will all tune in for our exciting program and speaker then. However, you don't have to be present to win these raffles. With a limited number sold on each item, everyone who buys has a good chance. So, please encourage your club members, family, friends and co-workers to buy tickets to support The Foundation and our District programs.
Big Cedar Lodge Getaway
The winner will receive a $2,000.00 gift card to Big Cedar Lodge (near Branson, MO) to use for rooms, dining, and any of the numerous events available at the Lodge.  Only $50 per ticket with a maximum of 200 tickets to be sold.  Estimated value $2,000.00.  Thank you to Erik McGuire for donating the package.  
Daytona Beach Getaway
Spend a full week in a Daytona Beach 3-bedroom 3-bath oceanfront condominium.  this prize is to be used in the next year and can be flexible on when used.  Only $100.00 per ticket with a maximum of 100 tickets to be sold.  Estimated value priceless time with your family.  Thank you to Rolfe and Julie McCoy for donating the package.  
Crystal Bridges Getaway
The winner will spend a weekend getaway at Crystal Bridges, Arkansas.  This long-weekend package includes a $1,200 gift certificate for a three-night stay at Victoria Bed and Breakfast.  Also includes a gift certificate for the historic "Preachers Son" restaurant, and a Crystal Bridges special exhibits gift certificate.  Only $50 per ticket and a maximum of 200 tickets to be sold.  Estimated value $1,450.00.  Thank you to Linn Mills for donating the package.

Silent Auction

 
In additional to the raffle items, there will be a silent auction taking place starting Thursday, May 20th at 7:00 a.m. and running through Saturday, May 22nd at 10:00 p.m.  
 
While you can't see auction items until 7:00 a.m. on May 20th, you can pre-register so you are ready to bid.  We also have a special sneak-peek at some of the items.
 
You can bid on great items such as:
 
  • A private tour for 8 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
  • A catered picnic for 25 at the Rotary Youth Camp or any place of the winner's choice within 45 miles of Lee's Summit.
  • Three 24x24 abstract photos on metal by award winning photographer
  • Porcelain clay handmade pottery pieces including a teapot, serving plattter, vinegar and oil cruet set on a plate.  All items are made by an artist in Lawrence.
  • 2 sponsor level tickets to Jazzoo.
  • A basket of zoo related items including passes to the KC Zoo.
